Visit CENTRIA‘s Booth 3427 at the 2016 American Institute of Architect‘s (AIA) National Convention, beginning this Thursday, May 19 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in historic Philadelphia, Pa., the birthplace of American independence. Unique to this year‘s display is the inventive Declaration of Innovation, an affirmation of CENTRIA‘s commitment to providing the most high-performance, revolutionary metal building envelope solutions in the industry.
Attendees can register to win one of two prize packages that include both a Livescribe™ 3 Smartpen–which sends written notes to memory via your mobile phone or tablet–and the popular Amazon Echo do-it-all entertainment system. To be eligible to win, you must visit three of CENTRIA‘s innovation stations.
This year‘s stations include the Formawall® IMV (insulated metal vertical) Joint and PE Seal Plate components, the MetalWrap™ insulated composite backup system and the Cascade® metal panel system. CENTRIA‘s Formawall product line is the only insulated metal panel (IMP) system on the market that offers an integrated IMV Joint, providing advanced aesthetic flexibility and an added thermal barrier on the vertical joint of a horizontally oriented panel.
Aesthetically, Formawall IMV blends in perfectly with the panels, providing a uniform, all-metal look. It also helps to minimize thermal transference to maintain a higher interior temperature at the joint.
IMV is just one example of the advanced thermal and moisture protection (ATMP®) technology that makes Formawall different than other IMPs on the market. Another stamp of the high performance system is pressure-equalized horizontal joinery. Adding the Formawall PE Seal Plate now provides pressure-equalization on the vertical joint for long-term protection that requires minimal maintenance. And the PE Seal Plate option creates multiple lines of defense against moisture protection.
The MetalWrap system serves as the ultimate backup wall for nearly any type of exterior rainscreen, from single-skin metal and MCM to brick, terra cotta and others. Combining an air and vapor barrier with insulation and a metal drain plane, MetalWrap controls moisture and air infiltration without sacrificing thermal efficiency. Its single-component construction leads to quick installation times, fewer scheduling and interface issues and, of course, a single source of responsibility in CENTRIA.
Finally, CENTRIA recently expanded the popular Cascade metal panel system, offering an additional nine interchangeable rainscreen profiles to provide even more options to create dramatic wall configurations. Each new profile features the Cascade line‘s distinct curves and can be integrated seamlessly with each other and CENTRIA‘s Concept Series concealed fastener panels.
In addition to the Declaration of Innovation and product mockups, architects and other design professionals can access an interactive, touchscreen display that reviews a number of technical innovations. Booth 3427 also features video monitors displaying projects from across the nation that feature CENTRIA‘s spectacular metal wall and roof systems.
Several of CENTRIA‘s knowledgeable subject matter experts will be on hand at all times to answer questions and review products. Remember, dedicated booth hours begin on Thursday, May 19 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., followed by Friday, May 20 (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.) and Saturday, May 21 (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.).
